Don't believe the review blogs. For the price that you have to pay, the chanpon here ain't that great.

Detailed rating 3.7I came to Tentenyu, a Nagasaki Champon shop in Shianbashi. It's like a traditional Chinese restaurant with an old-fashioned, homely atmosphere.I sat at the counter with a fixed round chair. There are also table seats and small rises.I ordered 750 yen for Champon.Rich soup and voluminous feeling with plenty of fresh seafood. The taste has not changed since the first generation.A hot cup was provided.Meat and vegetables are swelling like a small mountain. At first I thought that the soup was too thick, but as I drank it, I gradually felt the deepness.I eat simple noodles, and I feel relaxed or calm. But there is also the taste of noodles.Soft and soft cabbage. But chew when you chew. Both vegetables and seafood were delicious. If you can eat such delicious champon, it is worth coming to Nagasaki to eat.It came to me that I made it with feelings carefully. If you eat such a thing, you can no longer eat it at chain stores.

A simple, honest and old school Chinese place. It open before the war and they haven't changed much since. Service is straightforward, food is tasty, and the whole thing is a special experience. I recommend it!
